- ➤ St. Anne’s-Belfield School Grade 8 robotics team 'Next Level' qualified for the FIRST LEGO Robotics World Championship, scheduled to run from Apr. 29 to May 2 in Houston. - ➤ On Friday, Jan. 15, 201 U.Va.-based faculty sent a letter challenging the rushed appointment of President Beardsley, citing improper vetting and conflicts of interest. - ➤ Governor Glenn Youngkin announced on Thursday that more than $885,000 in matching grant funds is available to support 88 special events and festivals statewide. - ➤ Blue Ridge Health District reported an uptick in whooping cough cases since students returned from winter break, with fewer than five recent cases among feeder schools.
