- ➤ The University Bookstore plans a new flat-rate textbook program, One Access — offering digital and hardcopy materials for a single fee — but faculty oppose it over concerns about cost, data use and course control. - ➤ Local officials warn residents not to walk on frozen reservoirs after extreme cold formed unsafe ice. The Rivanna Water and Sewer Authority said the ice — especially on Sugar Hollow Reservoir — may not support weight as temperatures rise, urging people to view from a safe distance. 29 News
