- ➤ The RSWA extended McIntire Recycling Center hours on Monday, March 9 (8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.), allowing residents more opportunities to recycle during brighter evenings. The facility operates Wednesday through Monday and is closed on Tuesday. 29 News
- ➤ Charlottesville Department of Utilities customers can reserve a tree through the Arbor Day Foundation’s Energy-Saving Trees Program starting Monday, with 200 trees available on a first-come basis; each tree is chosen from four varieties (witchhazel, black haw viburnum, black cherry, tuliptree) and requires calling Virginia 811 for safety.
