- ➤ Charlottesville’s Better Dog Co. now offers one-on-one exercise sessions for dogs using a specialized slat mill (a treadmill built for canines) on East Market Street. The business also donates sessions to shelter dogs in a partnership with the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA. 29 News

- ➤ The Looking Glass in IX Art Park offers Charlottesville an immersive art exhibit with interactive installations and evolving creative spaces. Started by IX Arts Foundation in 2019, the museum will host artist talks and community events to spark local creativity. The Cavalier Daily

- ➤ Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) received a grant from the Mellon Foundation to expand its Higher Education in Prison program at three local correctional facilities; the program serves about 120 students and will add more courses and support services while helping other schools develop similar initiatives. 29 News
- ➤ Charlottesville middle schoolers showcased their BioBots robotics project at the UVA Rotunda today—drawing local interest and highlighting student innovation in technology. 29 News
- ➤ Following a recent meeting, the Honor Committee finalized transition documents, bylaw amendments for summer case processing, and a renaming of the Restorative Ethics Seminar to Honor Seminar — changes that will guide new leadership chosen on March 29 before the term ends on April 6. - ➤ UVA set a record late last week by sending nearly 1,900 invitations to prospective students (Class of 2030) during its regular decision cycle. CBS 19 News

- ➤ On Wednesday night, the Fluvanna County Board of Supervisors decided on a permit revision for Tenaska's proposed 1500 MW gas plant, including taller smokestacks. - ➤ Albemarle County’s plastic bag tax, meant to reduce disposable bag use, has raised over $440,000 since FY23 and is projected to add $140,000 to pay for roadside cleanup & support public works, including $31,000 for the new Circuit Court facility set to open in FY27. 3WV
