  • UVA Health opened a 40,000 sqft pharmacy facility in Discovery Park that can fill up to 4,000 prescriptions per shift. Chief pharmacy officer Danielle Griggs said the new center boosts patient care by improving medication access + inventory management.  29 News

SPORTS NEWS

  • Sam Lewis energized the Cavaliers in the ACC Tournament in Charlotte by scoring 45 points in three games, including 17 against Duke. The Toledo transfer now aims to boost Virginia's NCAA Tournament run, which will begin Friday against Wright State.  The Cavalier Daily
  • The Cavaliers rallied with an 11-0 burst to beat Wright State 82-73 in a tense NCAA tournament opener on Friday at Philadelphia, led by Jacari White’s season-high 26 points; they will face Tennessee on Sunday.  The Cavalier Daily

  • Virginia Women’s Basketball won their first NCAA tournament game in eight years with a 57-55 victory over Arizona State in Iowa City.
