- ➤ The Thomas Jefferson Medals have been announced to honor landscape architect Walter Hood, lawyer Bryan Stevenson, and U.S. Deputy Solicitor General Edwin Kneedler for their work in architecture, civil leadership and the law. The awards ceremony and free public speaking events will be held on April 10 and April 11 — at the Rotunda, Old Cabell Hall and Monticello — giving local residents a chance to hear the honorees speak. - ➤ The No. 23 Virginia baseball team lost its series finale to Duke 13 to 6 on Sunday at Disharoon Park when Duke scored six runs in the seventh inning—sweeping the series. - ➤ Today, UVA introduces its new head coach Ryan Odom while players Isaac McNeely, Andrew Rohde, Blake Buchanan and Dai Dai Ames enter the transfer portal.
