- ➤ Mamadou Dia, an assistant media studies and French professor, brings his film experience from Senegal and as co-founder of JoyeDidi to teach students writing, directing, and editing. - ➤ UVA’s gynecologic oncology program ranked fourth nationally for clinical trial enrollment and now gives more women access to new drugs—treatments that may work better than older ones, according to Dr. Linda Duska.
