- ➤ Bank of America employees in Charlottesville volunteered to clean Dogwood Memorial on Thursday, polishing the plaques and learning about its history. The work comes ahead of the monument’s 60th rededication on Friday, Apr. 17. 29 News

- ➤ Charlottesville restaurants and bars are preparing for crowds as Luke Combs will perform his My Kind of Saturday Night tour on Saturday, April 4 at Scott Stadium, which is set to host roughly 62,000 fans. - ➤ Charlottesville City Schools announced the promotion of CMS Principal Rodney Jordan to Director of Facilities Operations and Amanda Korman Simalchik to Supervisor of Community Relations. Jordan, who oversaw a three-year, $91.1 million renovation at CMS, will manage facility safety and custodial operations while Simalchik replaces Beth Cheuk to strengthen community outreach. 3WV
