- ➤ Under student leadership, the former Heartwood Books has reopened as Ginkgo Bookshop at 5 Elliewood Ave, offering free events and book clubs to connect the university with the community. - ➤ UVA student-athletes invite Charlottesville residents to join an Easter sunrise service on UVA Grounds on Sunday, Apr. 5 to celebrate the holiday together. CBS 19 News
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Daigakon, the University’s first anime and gaming convention, will take place tomorrow at Newcomb Hall (spanning three floors) with a vendor hall, gaming tournament, and live entertainment at Newcomb Theater. - ➤ Luke Combs, Dierks Bentley and Ty Myers will perform at Scott Stadium, marking the first concert there in nearly a decade + the event promises to bring a fresh energy to the local live music scene. 29 News

HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Volunteers delivered Easter baskets filled with crayons, games (and other items) to young patients at UVA Health today. The effort aimed to brighten the hospital experience for kids who spend their days there. 29 News
- ➤ UVA Health is now the second hospital to use MRI in heart ablation procedures that target abnormal heart rhythms. Doctors say the new method may improve treatment by providing more precise imaging during the procedure. 29 News
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Virginia's annual spring football game will be held at 3:30 p.m. on April 18 at Scott Stadium, where fans can see the Cavaliers' rebuilt roster including transfer quarterbacks Beau Pribula & Eli Holstein and join free Fan Fest, autograph sessions, and an equipment sale. 3WV
