- ➤ Restaurants and food trucks in Charlottesville are raising prices as higher diesel and ingredient costs squeeze budgets amid the war in Iran. Farmacy Cafe and Crozet Seafood Supply said rising fuel expenses may cut back on upcoming events (prices have already been adjusted to help cover costs). 29 News
- ➤ Pro Camera will open a new location on North Meadow Street in Richmond in June while keeping film drop-off available at its West Main Street shop in Charlottesville — a move that continues its 40-year service to local customers. 29 News

- ➤ Campbell Hall’s East and South additions were designed by professors W.G. Clark and Bill Sherman and completed in 2008 to offer Architecture students a space with glass review rooms, outdoor connections, and faculty offices that teach design and light lessons. The Cavalier Daily
- ➤ Mountain View Elementary in Charlottesville received a state grant that funded specialized teacher training and collaboration in dual language immersion instruction, aiming to boost bilingual education for its students. 29 News
