- ➤ On Thursday night, the Muslim Students Association hosted its third humanitarian spotlight at Newcomb Hall, where interactive exhibits taught visitors about tough global problems. - ➤ Charlottesville is asking residents to review its updated ADA transition plan to improve access to services—issues include sidewalk conditions, parking, bathroom accessibility and signage. - ➤ A UVA Health expert is studying Lepodisiran—an experimental drug that lowers lipoprotein(a) levels—to see if it can cut the risk of heart attacks and strokes. Ongoing trials will test this treatment on about 20 to 30% of Americans with high protein levels. 29 News
