  • Charlottesville and Charlottesville City Schools submitted an application to the U.S. Department of Education to acquire the former Federal Executive Institute campus.  CBS 19 News

HEALTH NEWS

  • Dr. Mark Russell from UVA Health told Morning News that even on cooler spring days ultraviolet radiation is still a risk and people should check any changing moles for signs of skin cancer. UVA Health will host free skin cancer screenings on Saturday, May 3, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Primary Care Center next to the UVA hospital — appointments are required.  Cville Right Now
