- ➤ City Council approved the eminent domain acquisition of six parcels for the East High and Emmet streetscape projects Monday night. Vice Mayor Brian Pinkston said last-minute negotiations led to one property being removed — property owners will be paid fair market value in line with state law. 3WV
- ➤ Charlottesville Police Chief Kochis asked City Council last night for a $150,000 appropriation to fund a one-year program that will integrate nine department systems + records management, body camera video and dispatch data into one database. If approved, the system will include on-site training, system configuration + ongoing technical support with a dedicated deployment strategist. Cville Right Now
