- ➤ Rising diesel prices are straining local businesses as S.L. Williamson faces higher fuel costs that may delay future projects. Diesel now averages over $5.60 per gallon and affects hundreds of trucks (20 company-owned and 40–50 contractor rigs) running paving and milling operations. 29 News
