- ➤ Virginia-based Dominion Energy agreed to merge with Florida-based NextEra Energy in an all-stock transaction that will create the world's largest regulated utility with about 10 million customer accounts across four states. - ➤ Last week, Charlottesville Media Group’s ‘Cares For Kids’ Radiothon raised $66,446 for UVA Health Children’s. The two-day event helped fund medical care and supportive services for children and families, including free and reduced-cost health services + lodging, food, clothing and transportation. - ➤ UVA Health launched its first virtual primary care service last week for insured Virginia adults, offering health visits Monday to Friday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Children over five will be seen starting July 1, and in person follow up is provided (patients without insurance may access help through special programs).
