- ➤ City Council heard on May 19 that about 220 people in Charlottesville experience homelessness each night, up from about 200 last year, and local agencies said that a shortage of affordable housing is the main challenge. - ➤ Charlottesville food writer Simon Davidson (founder of Charlottesville29.com) joined Cville Right Now Live to reflect on chef Craig Hartman’s lasting influence, noting that his mentorship reaches far beyond Central Virginia as former student Jeff Lizotte now leads Connecticut restaurants Present Company and The Foundry.
