- ➤ Four recent departures left vacancies on Charlottesville’s Police Civilian Oversight Board, and the city is accepting online applications until August 1. - ➤ Charlottesville police have blocked federal access to Flock camera data amid pressure from state and federal officials to help with immigration enforcement—police chief Michael Kochis said they do not cooperate with ICE to protect community trust and keep residents safe from fear when calling for help. The decision follows a broader push in Virginia for local agencies to work more closely with immigration authorities. 29 News
