- ➤ UVA professor Jonathan Colmer worked with a team to create a tool that analyzes severe weather data to help first responders plan for disasters — it gathers details on who may be most at risk. He plans to use feedback from emergency teams to make the tool better so it can save lives. 29 News
- ➤ The Residential Retrofit Mini-Grant program will provide Charlottesville residents up to $2,000 for energy improvements such as insulation, efficient heating or new appliances.
