- ➤ Jatavious Turner-Jones, a Charlottesville man, was arrested on Thursday after a raid netted over 6,000 fentanyl pills—city officials confirmed the pill count—and remains in custody—no further details were released. The Daily Progress
- ➤ A Louisa County man, Jahazi R. Veney (24) was arrested on Thursday in Albemarle County after DNA evidence linked him to an armed home invasion on Stony Point Road on August 11, 2023, and he faces charges of burglary while in possession of a deadly weapon, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and brandishing a firearm while being held without bond at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail. 29 News
