  • A Fairfax County judge will decide by Tuesday if eight of Gov. Youngkin's appointees can serve on the boards of UVA, VMI, and George Mason. If the judge blocks them, the attorney general will ask for a stay—this ruling may delay board meetings and affect school leadership.  The Daily Progress
  • This week, the Charlottesville-UVA-Albemarle Emergency Communications Center celebrated its 911 dispatchers—public safety professionals who send police and fire rescue help promptly.
