- ➤ Living Earth School received approval from the Albemarle Board of Supervisors to create a 247-acre nature sanctuary — development will begin in the next six to nine months as staff study the land to protect local wildlife. 29 News
- ➤ On Monday evening, community members in Charlottesville marched at a Labor Day protest to support workers' rights with signs and speeches. Union leaders said the protest honored hard work and demanded fair pay for all (unions). 29 News
BUSINESS NEWS
- ➤ Google will spend $9B to expand its Virginia data centers by building a new campus at Meadowville Technology Park in Chesterfield County and expanding projects in Loudoun and Prince William counties — a move aimed at boosting local technology jobs.
