- ➤ UVA Health’s population health department is teaming up with Community Bikes, UVA Parking and Transport, and Charlottesville Police to gift children bikes with helmets, locks, and bike safety training. - ➤ Charlottesville’s Central Library will receive a $6.8 million remodel as Jefferson-Madison Regional Library plans to upgrade outdated plumbing, HVAC, and IT systems while creating flexible spaces for users—small improvements to the historic Swanson room will preserve its legacy. City and county officials will start funding talks in July—more details will follow as the plan develops. 29 News
