  • Charlottesville City Schools and the University of Virginia are bidding for the former Federal Executive Institute, with the schools planning to use the property to consolidate administrative offices and preschool programs while UVa has not revealed its plans. Officials expect a decision as early as April 28—if selected, the deal will close within 60-90 days.  The Daily Progress
