- ➤ Charlottesville Parks & Rec will host free community activities on June 21 as part of Play All Day VA. The program includes free swimming at Washington Park Pool and Onesty Family Aquatic Center plus free admission to Carver, Herman Key Jr., Smith Aquatic and Fitness, Tonsler, and Crow Recreation Centers and special events like a field day at Tonsler Park from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., a live DJ with Kona Ice from 5 to 7 p.m., and Swimming Under the Stars from 7 to 9 p.m. 29 News

- ➤ Charlottesville is observing the 160th anniversary of Juneteenth with community events today at Eastwood Farm and Winery, Historic River View Farm and The Art Bar that celebrate local Black heritage, music & food.
